International fame of «Comic-fish»

In 2013 «Meridian» and advertising agency «Voskhod» held the unusual campaign – the bright colored booth was placed in one of the shopping malls of Yekaterinburg. Inside the booth there was a talking fish that remotely controlled by professional comedian. This construction aroused big interest among mall’s visitors: to meet with talking fish, to make jokes, to flirt and even leave a phone number! 
On the wave of success new super star began surfing advertising and marketing festivals. First awards have brought participation in Kyiv International Advertising Festival and Russian Advertising Festival «Idea!» (Novosibirsk) in May 2013. As the result: two bronze from Kyiv (nominations «OOH» and «Marketing services») and three bronze awards from Novosibirsk («OOH», «BTL-service», «Media-projects»). 
A few days later, on May 31st, at the «Silver Mercury» award ceremony «Meridian» was presented silver and bronze awards for «Indoor» and «Sales Promotion». In June 2013 «Comic-fish» was presented at the International advertising festival «Golden Hummer» (Riga). Among more than 100 works from 22 countries this project was awarded diploma for 3rd place in the nomination «Indoor Media» and took the second place in the nomination «Marketing PR». 
Successful travelling to festivals continues in September at Moscow International Advertising festival «Red Apple», which brought two silver «Apples»: for the best use unconventional advertising media and the best indoor-advertisement. 
Such unusual positive project was also well perceived by the jury of International Marketing festival «Direct Hit» (Kyiv, December 6th, 2013). Comic fish got one more bronze award in nomination «Event-marketing using». 
On the 14th award ceremony «The Globes» (USA) the project was awarded in nomination «Experimental marketing». World Association of marketing agencies (MAAW) presents «Globes» only to most effective campaigns worldwide, only the best of the best – all participants have already won the same competitions at their countries. By the way in Russia such qualifying test is «Silver Mercury». 
In addition to such victorious year «Comic-fish» was included in List of Five most bright campaigns of 2013 year by the «Secret firmi» magazine opinion.
